Existing problems：
- System voltage fluctuation caused by a large number of wind turbines and other large power loads;
- Current distortion, transformer heating, and increase of line loss caused by nonlinear load;

- Low power factor and serious voltage drop.

Solution：

TBB high voltage reactive power centralized compensation of SSE was used for power quality optimization.

Control effect：
The power factor was increased from 0.75 to over 0.96; the 7thand 5th harmonics were suppressed effectively, and the line loss was reduced.
